IMO all of the events that are happening indicate that the takeover is done & dusted.

Absolutely agree mate. I mean there's a complete lack of evidence that the "takeover" ever got past even the most preliminary of stages but still, it's almost certainly complete now if you really think about it.

Bored stiff, just want to know if we're stuck with that fat c*** and no Rafa, or if we get a fresh start.

My first post in this thread. Nothing to say on this really until it does/does not happen.  Waste of time thinking about it.

What the absolute f***

So the club saying nothing is akin to the club appointing a tactically braindead, borderline psychopath, giving him a 7 year contract and turning some of our most likeable players against the fans before getting relegated?

Each to their own but although the scenario isn't as severe on paper, we're looking at binning off a world-class manager who genuinely loves the club, fans and wants the best for it/us all, to return to management which most likely takes us back to the Pardew days. In fact Rafa being here and (potentially) leaving will probably result on more fans turning their back on the club than did when Pardew was here, because of the hope Rafa has brought to us and what he signifies.

The latest I'm hearing is that there has been a delay on the Premier League side with passing them as fit and proper.

They were just a bit busy this week fixing the fixture lists.
I really like Fenham Mag. Great guy and a very good poster.

Exactly.  Plus we have no strikers.  We have no comment.  We have season ticket price hikes.  They are treating the fans with utter contempt.

If the take over is real and they cannot action any of the above due to legalities I’ll take it on the chin that I’m wrong but I just don’t believe it anymore.

I'm on the precipice, like. Peak Pards hopelessness - circa Autumn 2014: that's the worst it's ever got for me. Felt like we'd be there forever, the zombie club.

I can't imagine how depressed I'll feel if we're Rafaless with Ashley at the helm in Autumn 2019.

The last few days of June are going to be agony if we're still sat here with no fresh angle on what's happening with this supposed takeover.

I know we have had "make or break", countless times before but this actually feels like it.

So much could happen in the next two weeks.
Sir Bobby Robson: “What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses, marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city. It’s a small boy clambering up stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father’s hand, gawping at that hallowed stretch of turf beneath him and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love.”

Yeah, I'm gonna need to see that Whatsapp and even then I withhold my right to called you a bullshitter.

Mind you, even positive news that isn't real, will be welcome, such is the mess that I am in.
