If he got complacent at this stage he should end up somewhere in Russia

Genuinely think he'd have been a different player if we'd signed him. Being on loan again made him complacent, imo.

If that changes him as a player then he's not got the character needed.

Yeah I think that’s bollocks personally.

You might get the slight increase on a permanent deal but he’s not going to simply turn to s*** because he’s on loan.

It was his first full season in top flight football. He should have been wanting to make an impression no matter whether it was a loan or not.

Instead it comes out looking like he just had a streaky run of about 7 or 8 games and is usually s***.

Especially when the likes of Bayern & PSG were supposedly linked a year ago. A good season would have helped him get a good move this summer or push him into the first team picture at Chelsea.

Still not sure if it actually was the same player who came back after the summer, couldn't work out who it was when I seen him against spurs. Looked 2 stone heavier, 5 years older and lost half his hair. Was fuming at the time but we seem to have dodged a bullet by not signing him, would have used up the almiron money. Ended up behind atsu in the pecking order ffs

Players get a chunk of the transfer fee so with that, the signing bonus, the loyalty bonus, probably a pay bump he likely lost out on a good few million quid when we didn't sign him.  That'd play on my mind a bit

He's probably being more useful than Kenedy.

anyone with a bit of pace/any random trick can look good vs league of ireland defenders(and I say this as a season ticket holder to one of the teams)

People were fewming we didn't pay £30 million at one point though.
I'll be watching the games, and I'll be talking about the teams. If it's a disaster it will be quite humorous and exactly what Mike Ashley deserves and to be honest I'll quite enjoy it. I am totally indifferent to results and the team success going forward.

Now, in certain games should the team do well, I will be happy more for the players, because I feel bad for them mostly, and I still want to see some of them do well. I will still feel comfortable giving the team credit when they do well. I just don't care about any outcome at this point and none of my money goes into anything to do with Mike Ashley's operations.

Yep. Incredible decline. He scored for Chelsea in one of their recent games, im a bit surprised he didn’t have a better offer than Reading.

Annoyed me so much when he came on at Fulham on the final day of last season. Why not put a kid on?

There's a good player in there, but I'm not sure he's got the determination to fulfill his potential.

He'd been found out before the end of his first loan spell.
