Anyone remember Beattie's in Eldon Square? It was where TGI' Friday's is now. I'm sure it was a national chain, but as a kid it was always special going into a model shop with a train set running above you on the ceiling.

There was one in the Metrocentre, down in the red quadrant close to what used to be Asda.

Warner Brothers cinema at Manors is also a massive miss.
Had a few dances off her when I've been in Blue velvet with friends. She's one of the ones who will push her fanny in your face, usually I like that but hers smells f***ing rotten. Only had dances off her because she agreed to take less money for the dances when me and my mate said we were skint.

I was a pure creep when I was a kid tbf. Used to spunk in deoderant can lids too

The round cafe in Eldon Square was cool.
And the fountain full of money underneath it :) was always a stopping off point before me mam and dad spent what felt like five or six hours looking at coffee tables in Habitat then posters in Athena on the other side

Jesmond before the students took over. The mixture of middle class families with half-way houses occupied by local 'characters' like Mad Malcolm, Moondancer, Mister and the man who picked up litter.

Speaking of Beatties, The Model Shop was great as well. Used to love doing airfix models as a kid.
Dead in the middle of Little Italy little did we know that we riddled some middle men who didn't do diddely.

going to the pictures in the city centre, Odeon, Haymarket, Abc.
1 kid paying to get in the odeon, going round to the fire door and letting the rest of us in.

The Trollies that used to run from the Toon up New Bridge street then up Shields road. Great fun.
