Barnsley (a) SOLD OUT - Tuesday 18th October 2016
« on: Friday 16 September 2016, 11:07:18 AM »
Initial allocation of 5,500.
On sale to ST holders with 50+ points from today.

A huge allocation, a Tuesday night and it starts at 50! :cheesy: Away games becoming very difficult to get tickets for.

Really looking forward to this one. Once we've sold the initial 5,500 they'll give us another 1,500 to take our allocation up to 7,000. That's what they did last time anyway.

Imagine what you'll need for a ticket at Burton.

Not been an away game before and me and my mate earmarked this the one we'd go, relaying on him to get the tickets but I really dont know how likely it is as hes just a general club member.

Hi, is anyone travelling from the Manchester area to Barnsley? I am going on my own and the last train return train to Manchester requires a change at huddersfield which means there is a small chance of getting stranded which would be a nightmare considering I am at work the next day! Willing to pay a share of the fuel cost. My email is [email protected] Thanks

Can't believe they're not going to give us half of the West Stand too. It's blocked off on their ticket sales and has been since they went on sale, so they've not sold it to their supporters.

Looking at their ticket sales, they still have loads of availability across the ground.

They've announced today that you'll need a booking history with Barnsley to buy tickets and there will be no sales on the day, to prevent our lot getting in the home end.

Think it's more to do with SY Police than Barnsley FC tbh. Not giving us half the West Stand will cost them about 50k in lost ticket sales.

What an odd decision to beam back the game where we"re going to have our biggest away following of the season. Hardly people being shut oit and the game in high demand, with that amount of tickets the majority of people who want to go are going.

Make far more sense to beam back a game like Burton Albion, Brentford, Forest or Ipswich away where the allocations are quite to very small and people who want to go will actually be unable to get a ticket.

Weird

I got my tickets for the beam back today. The man in the box office says that there is only about 400 left and they should go pretty soon. If it proves popular then NUFC will try and get this arrangement for more games, but it depends on the home team.
