You Brits were way ahead of the game when it came to doom.

To crush your enemies while wearing a loincloth and bandolier, and to hear the lamentations of their women.

Have a confusing relationship with this song, on the one hand it's a playful summery tune you would put on to lift the spirits, yet every time I play it I could cry (and do). It captures something so perfectly, so soulfully yet whimsically as well, seems to catch me off guard every time.

Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.

I really need to get into them more. Their collab with Leon Bridges was really great.

Also how have we not talked about Sturgill's two bluegrass-reimagining albums? The new version of Oh Sarah is incredible.

Encountered this at work a few weeks ago and must have listened to it 30 times since. Proper 80s/early-90s banger

They're a really good band, no doubt about it. Tight as it gets live too.

Had thisbon repeat for about an hour earlier
Bullshitters misrepresent themselves to their audience not as liars do, that is, by deliberately making false claims about what is true. In fact, bullshit need not be untrue at all.

Rather, bullshitters seek to convey a certain impression of themselves without being concerned about whether anything at all is true. They quietly change the rules governing their end of the conversation so that claims about truth and falsity are irrelevant.
