DeAndre Yedlin

I feel like it's only right someone from the US makes this thread. I can't really say he'll be a good signing, but he has made improvements over the last year and is coming off a good Copa America.

His tuxedo game is on point. I'll give him that. Still feels like a strange move.

No come on we can't be signing another mackem rejects. This guy has no attributes of a footballer, someone should have told told him to quit footy and become an average 100 meter runner
Help us, Rafa Benítez. You're our only hope.

We need the numbers if we lose Janmaat, is he the right player we need, I'll take those who have watched him play word for it. Semtex sounds awfully concerned so that's not good, having said that Janmaat's form has been very up and down and getting players to play for a championship club must not be easy.

Would rather he didn't sign as he's below average but if Janmaat goes we need a RB, unless Sterry fancies it.

Happy for him to replace Janmaat as I never really liked Janmaat.

Is he better than Janmaat?

No.

He's like an extreme version of Janmaat. Even worse at actual positional defensive stuff, but about 50% FASTER. Fast fast fast.

I'll be completely honest. I haven't got a f***ing clue who he is. But good luck to him and hope he turns out to be decent.

Think he'd be a decent signing, tbh. Reckon Rafa might turn him into a winger and have Anita & Jesus for RB.

He's not good enough at taking people on to be a winger though. Much better overlapping as a fullback.

So he's either a really defensive winger, or a really attacking full back. I'm assuming we'd prefer the latter but you never know.

Swapping one average/limited RB for another tbh.
The club comes first.

Is this a loan or permanent? Presume the latter

4 million fee has been discussed.

Not the worst punt, I guess. Not the best, either.

The type of fullback/winger we've all seen. Fast as f***, no end product. Seems to have improved defensively a little during Copa America, but still committed a foolish handball v Colombia and got a previously-mentioned stone-cold idiotic red card v Paraguay. So not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree, then.

Aye if you want to see as ridiculous a second booking as you've ever seen....
