Didn't read too much of that because I know it'll wind me up, but that is just so f***ing depressing.  Thick as a castle wall.

We win 3 -0 , looks like takeover is going through and you still have to find something to complain about.

I shouldn't be complaining about our fans not understanding Black Lives Matter?
Not on the match thread no.

If I was in charge of our social media team I’d be going through all the comments against the BLM movement, see if their email address lines up with season ticket holders/members. Cancelling their season ticket/membership without a refund, as per the T&C’s, banning them, and then blocking them on social media.
These people aren’t going to learn until they are forced too.

I’ve been a season ticket holder at SJP, and over the years been to hundreds of games, I can honestly say I’ve never came across any openly racist fans at a match, however that’s not to say we don’t have racist fans and don’t potentially have a problem. I’d love for the club to nip it right now, they have the perfect opportunity too.

It’s amazing though, these racists will have ASM as their favourite player, will have spent the last 10 weeks hoping for the takeover from the mega rich Saudi’s to be approved, all that is fine, but non-whites asking to be treated fairy is out of order to them. They can f*** off from our club, and quite frankly they can f*** off out of our city. I don’t want to share either with them.

Crazy to think that this much hyped Sheffield United team have conceded 18% of their goals this season against Newcastle. They were utterly shocking yesterday.

I don't fully understand how they've done so well, they don't seem to have much attacking threat at all.

Yeap, they've just carried momentum from last season and been able to get results in a terrible PL season.

They are very strong defensively tbf. If that stayed 11 vs. 11 yesterday I still think 0-0 was the most likely result

Usually I would agree but I think after that first 10-15 minutes we looked particularly potent yesterday. I think it was always coming. Not 3-0 mind.

(and their defending was pretty hideous on the day)

I can't explain why, but I've noticed in the two games since coming back (one they deserved to win) they've stopped using that famed over-lapping centre back trick they had.

Is it not because O'Connell has been missing?

That will be part of it, but he hasn't abandoned the 3-5-2 and at the same time O'Connell wasn't always the advancing centre-back, it was rotated. Maybe he doesn't feel comfortable leaving Robinson exposed. He also has Restos who they signed on loan in January who is made for that kind of role. Watching them this season I find Wilder's squad building odd, he just seems to hoard players a bit.

I honestly think they could easily suffer from 2nd season syndrome.
Whenever I have seen them play they haven’t looked that good. Momentum has been a large part of the reason why they have done so well, and now that appears to be falling away from them.

Appears to be the case. I was really surprised at how poor they looked. I fully expected them to come back after 3 months off and be strong, physical and motivated like they were in August and September. Got it totally wrong, their heads dropped after the first goal and they just seemed to coast through the rest of the game.

They don't have a goalscorer in their team either. Mousset had a brief flash earlier in the season, Sharp is a lower league player, McBurnie not really hit the heights yet and David McGoaldrought probably up with Joelinton this season.

If they'd had a Danny Ings or a Jordan Ayew tickling double figures they'd be sitting comfy top four by now.
