                             Sels

Janmaat  Mbemba  Lascelles   Dummett

      Ritchie      Tiote      Saivet    Aarons

                 Mitrovic      Gayle

(Assuming Sissoko and Wiljnaldum continue to be absent, and Townsend leaves. Also Janmaat italicised assuming he'll go. Perez rotated.)

Massive trade down if he's replacing Townsend.

Odd that Bournemouth are happy to sell, wasn't he one of their best players last year?
Newcastle 4-4 Arsenal: "From impending tragedy to near-triumph via the most improbable route possible - 95 minutes that neatly encapsulate 130 years of football on this particular piece of grass. Newcastle, United, will never be defeated."

Sir Bobby Robson - What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses or the marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.

We understand Newcastle are also hopeful of having Matt Ritchie signed up next. It's close. Bournemouth looking for £10-12m for the winger.

£10-12m for Matt Ritchie

Tragically hilarious how much money this is going to cost us for the sake of not buying a f***ing centre back and a striker.

To be fair Matt Richie is quite comfortable at premiership level, it's a signing for the future.

Strange that he is taking the drop in league though.

[emoji38] right, or paying for someone that wasn't Steve McClaren
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

Sleep now in the fire

If Rafa can still be attracted to NUFC in a lower league,  then why not other people?

He's got sense, that Ritchie lad.

Aye, I think it's a really good signing for a Championship club, I just cringe thinking about what we could be doing if we never got ourselves pointlessly relegated. It's not even if's and buts, we effectively went down for the craic
