He must have the easiest speech to make himself a massive fan's favourite to make.

Go on Dwight, you know it makes sense.

Approve. He's wasted at Palarse.

Not a fan at all, but I'll suspend all belief that he's a useless, profligate, deeply frustrating player, and give the wee shitehawk a chance.

Fingers crossed. Could miraculously blossom like a post Norwich Bellamy.

Good to see NUFC clearly delivering on their promises to Rafa.

He must have told them that he wanted to change the previous 'sell before you buy' policy.

As I understand it, he's quick and scores goals. Gets the nod from me.

I think this is a fantastic signing. He's a live wire who gets goals and has a very good record in the top two divisions.

Much like Andros, I think he just needs a run in a side managed by someone half-decent who believes in him.

Quite happy with this. Things starting to move fast now in terms of signings. Nee f***ing aboot from Rafa. Under McClaren or Pardew this would have rumbled on until August.

Good striker for the Champ. A very decent squad member for the Prem too, if we go straight back up.

Nice use of French in the title.

Think he'll be a good signing.

Do you blame him when Adebayor and that other lump are starting games?

I'll be watching the games, and I'll be talking about the teams. If it's a disaster it will be quite humorous and exactly what Mike Ashley deserves and to be honest I'll quite enjoy it. I am totally indifferent to results and the team success going forward.

Now, in certain games should the team do well, I will be happy more for the players, because I feel bad for them mostly, and I still want to see some of them do well. I will still feel comfortable giving the team credit when they do well. I just don't care about any outcome at this point and none of my money goes into anything to do with Mike Ashley's operations.

Cisse off or will he stay for the final year of his contract? If he goes we will need another forward IMO.

Signing a player and another having a medical before the  transfer window is even open. I am not happy with this, where has our preparation and consideration into preparing a potential bid been, also, why haven't we offered £3m or £4m under the selling clubs asking price. Madness!

*Would be delighted with this signing especially if we keep Townsend.
