Seems to be a lot of attention in here on the Wor Flags flag rather than focusing on the fact that the club destroyed £4.5k worth of fan-funded flags and booted them out of the stadium in the process.

Seems to have been a bit of a wild over-exaggeration in terms of that story...

As it happens I don't take much notice of Twitter comments etc but I do on here as I see you all as quite a sensible bunch ( honest) , we got a bit of a bollocking about the Rafa Spanish and keegan banners but not too bad. We were more or less told any more and we'd be gone so we all sat down and discussed the way forward , we decided to keep positive inside but not outside , hence the hope, honesty , contempt and house of Benitez banners.and various stunts down the quayside and Tyne bridge.
As it happens every WF member was at every protest, the last one being nearly exclusively WF members as no one else seemed bothered and out of the 20 members every one was going to boycott and some still did.
The comments on here will be noted and I'll pass them on as constructive criticism is a good thing. We do try to gauge the support and yes maybe the lascelles thing we got wrong ( it was 50/50 btw) , personally I loved the last one simply because I hate the way the media call them United but again that's purely a personal thing. I'll admit I wasn't a fan of the tweet, I'd prefer to leave it at the image.
Again I must emphasis we are not a secret group or anything , none of us knew each other before this malarkey so if any of you want to join of help out just shout.

You’re doing a great job, I don’t agree with all the flags but the initiative itself is awesome.

I’ll never understand the Lascelles one just after he bigged up Ashley, but we can let them one go

What a bunch of miserable b******s on here. Literally not happy unless their whinging their tits off about something.

Some writing on a banner is the least of our worries at the moment. Personally I thought it was canny even if Sky Sports did their best not to show it.

Everyone should say they like everything, that's all you can do. Expressing any difference of opinion is whinging imo
 I dunno. I'm starting to think it was us.
Trump will do well man. Don't know why but I really feel this will be the case. Really hope it will come to be that way.

Like I say we decided to keep it pro manager and team inside. Certain individuals actions stopped any momentum on the protests outside but that's another story.
Any anti Ashley stuff from us will have us closed down immediately, not because club employees would want to do this , we've had nothing but help from a lot of them, one in particular. I can't see the point in producing something that will cause the end of something that in my humblest the majority of fans like.
We did argue long and hard about using the WAU surfer given its title but we decided to go ahead purely to support the team and not dwell on the politics of the message it gives.
Surely we're in the ground for one thing and that's to hope and pray the team win.
Do the flags and banners aid this ? Who knows but surely it's better to try !
As it happens all members of WF's are in the corner or block V and attempt to encourage the atmosphere for 90 mins not for a few minutes pre KO.

Nowt like going over the top.

So someone giving their opinion and saying that they didn't like an idea = whingeing their tits off and they think there is nothing other than said idea to worry about.

How dare we talk about a Wor Flags display in the Wor Flags thread.

 The production and organisation of the flags is top notch. Can't praise 'em enough for that one. I just wish the message was a little... grittier.

Not at all. It's the same sour faced people moaning about trivial little things like banners or songs not being to their liking.

Meanwhile the club drifts further into oblivion with every passing week.

It’s hardly one or the other is it? And it’s not whinging for whinging sake either. People respect the efforts by and large but we’re non plussed/dislike this one. Hardly worthy of melodrama.

And people are "whinging" because we're drifting into oblivion, and these flags are an opportunity to try and change that.

Absolute f***ing dross post. Get the f*** out.

Not sure you get the idea of threads then.  Should we just drag everything wrong with the club into every conversation?

As Darth says, it's not one or the other.

They displayed a banner, I merely observed and commented that's all.

What truth ?

Guessing the fact LF accused the club of chucking out £4.5k of their flags then the club tried to claim via the local media they were damaged.

Presuming LF had an interview lined up to tell it like it was.

Didnt the guy tweeting say that he was leaving the group so it would make sense that he would have to hand in his security passes? Seems a lot more to this than they are letting on
