Nah f*** this, worst poster nominations are back.
One year I deliberately made no posts in the general chat thread so I couldn’t be nominated for it, I still f***ing won.

Holy f***. I've just been educating my 6 year old in Bowie, she loves him and will be f***ing devastated. Man :(
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

Sleep now in the fire

FFS :(  Philthy Animal, Lemmy and now David Bowie :(

f***ing awful. He was brilliant as a performer, song writer and actor. He produced what I think is one of the greatest albums of all time.

Lust for Life.

RIP David, easily the best live artist I've ever seen.
"Hello, Bobby," he once greeted his England captain, Bryan Robson.

"I'm Bryan," the skipper replied. "You're Bobby."

I know he was private and a bit of a recluse, but to be as big a name as he is and keep a cancer diagnosis secret for 18 months is amazing in this day and age.

RIP to an absolute one off.

I always thought his voice was just perfect. It often sounded so different, but was always full of something much deeper than the music.

Knocked the wind out ot me this morning.  RIP. :(
Making mistakes is how you learn.
Every generation must fight the same battles again and again and again. There is no final victory, and there is no final defeat, and so a little bit of history may help.
“What power have you got? Where did you get it from? In whose interests do you exercise it? To whom are you accountable? And how can we get rid of you?” If you cannot get rid of the people who govern you, you do not live in a democratic system.
That is why no one with power likes democracy and that is why every generation must struggle to win it and keep it – including you and me, here and now.

Hard to remember the Olympics without thinking of David Bowie too. Soundtrack to an amazing few weeks which celebrated everything great about the UK.

So sad. Just got the new album last week, love it. It's topping the charts already, before this sad news. A wonderful talent. I grew up with his music and will miss him loads. "Heroes" for me is one of the best songs I've ever heard. RIP David.
