Midfield is our biggest weakness and Colback is a footballing haemerrhoid, so Shelvo is a positive move.

I think he would add balance to our CM, hopefully getting rid of the 2 DM axis of evil.  He's obviously got some quality and the much sought after "premier league experience".  If a new club helps him get back to form whilst giving us a different dimension then good.

Potentially it's a very good signing. Dunno what went wrong at Swansea but he has the potential to do very well in this league. Can see the fans liking him as well. Like Colback but good.

Worth remembering that when we signed Gary Speed (from Everton) - he was out of form and not liked by their fans. Shelvey is still young, has plenty top flight experience and will improve us. Will do for me.
