He's competent in comparison to someone like Sels or Jak Alnwick, but really isn't inspiring any confidence. He's too erratic to be relied upon but unfortunately he's our best option right now.

Darlow is an okay back up, but is clearly miles behind Dubravka in every single metric that you could possibly judge a goalkeeper on. And for that reason, Bruce will pick him for the rest of the season.

Is Darlow actually good, or are we just so s*** that keepers are our best players by default?

He's been quite good and was unlucky to get injured today, we should've really took him off.

Hope for his sake staying on hasn't made it worse.

That's a good question.

Great save for the penalty like, incredible, in fact.

He's decent enough as a back up. If you doubt that, just wait until we have Gillespie starting because Darlow's groin is knackered.

He looks good as he's the most active player on the pitch. I don't think anyone else has more touches of the ball.

had a great game again today.
not as good as dubravka overall but less prone to making the odd blunder that martin does.
john gibson in the chronicle this afternoon;
"John Carver has talked of playing two up top in an effort to score goals, tactically be more direct to grind out points, and just about every other possibility known to man or beast. They are the ramblings of a drowning desperado."

He's more or less the same player from last time around minus the bad individual errors/f***-ups that lead to goals

Decent goalkeeper with bad distribution.

I think Darlow made more errors in The Championship and his spell as number 1 before we signed Dubravka like.

Yikes. Enough to turn even the most hardened anti-vaxxer.

Seems to be good on pens. Sure he's got over a 50% save record on them for us.

Yeah, and he runs more than Shelvey in a game to.

He’s faced 37 shots on target already in 5 games.

9 of them conceded.

Decent goalkeeper with bad distribution.

He has made a few errors in the past couple of games with his handling/ tipping the ball away instead of catching.
