Compare this performance and way the staff have carried themselves and the manager's instructions, to when Carver was on the touchline with Pardew suspended.

Fulham 1-0 Newcastle
Newcastle 1-0 Palace
Newcastle 0-3 Everton
Southampton 4-0 Newcastle
Newcastle 0-4 Man Utd
Stoke 1-0 Newcastle
Newcastle 1-2 Swansea

That just looks like typical Pardew form mate

Merino said they'd planned mainly for Swansea to have 5 at the back but had everything in place in case they went with 4.

These guys are on another level to most coaching teams in this league.

We talking Key Stage 2 aye?
Hatem Ben Arfa -
I don't think he would have won us any more points than any of our current players.

After 9 losses and 1 draw in 10 matches under John Carver.

That's the first thing that came into my mind today too, imagine those three managing us against an upbeat Swansea team with a couple of new signings.

However bad the club still is, it's amazing to have some intelligent coaches and it shines clearly out on the pitch.

"Francisco de Miguel Moreno explained that Benitez sent messages to Antonio Gómez in the stands before they were relayed to the touchline with Mikel Antia booming out the ex-Liverpool manager’s instructions."

Anyone else hear someone tell Murphy quite early on to 'pass the f***ing ball' after he lost it? Didn't sound like a Spanish accent.

Gave me a shiver down the spine, that.
But...6 in a row. But...Calciopoli.

Aye, utter joke. That's why he worked with the reserves and that as he wasn't allowed on the bench since he wasn't qualified.

Least surprising statistic I've seen in some time:

http://www.insideworldfootball.com/2017/11/15/sick-notes-man-utd-spent-52m-lost-work-days-newcastle-lost-5172-days-total/

Very poorly drawn up - Curtis Good ffs.

We've done alright with injuries last two seasons.
I looked into the eye of the Island and what I saw was beautiful.

Meanwhile, at the job centre. Employed brick layer Woody enjoys an all day breakfast, as Carvs and Stoney laugh it off with envious greed, until news of a job vacancy pricks Carvs' ears.
