I honestly cannot get over the fact that this almost looks gourmet :lol:

I had haggis for the first time this weekend. It was excellent, can only imagine how good the deep fried version must be.

Had it as a wrap with some homemade coleslaw and a whiskey cream sauce. It's really a very subtle flavour.

I'm not sure if they still do it but the Black Bull in Wylam used to do a lovely haggis mashed potato on some of their Sunday dinners. Absolutely gorgeous.

refuse to believe it tastes good. sometimes opposites can work but the spongy tenderness of cake flesh vs flaky hardness of pie crust and the fruit filling vs icing seems horrible.
