PB&J and chocolate milk. I've regressed completely to grade school.
 I remember cartons being a thing until like 5th grade then we got these weird plastic bags (BAGGED f***ing MILK) we had to capri-sub-stab a straw into was that a thing up there as well?

They've still got cartons up here. Bagged milk. f***ing dixies. :yao:
The aerodynamics were so good during food fights. could just discus one across the whole of the cafeteria

This was my elementary and middle school experience as well. Like little plastic mammaries.

I think every British school dinner was something, beans, and chips.  Usually turkey twizzlers, fish, or a plain burger.  Jam roly poly or spotted dick for pudding.

We had to pay for it. The regular school lunch was still whatever cheap-ass price it was. My school was not rich by any stretch of the imagination.

Decent.  The fried rice looks a little underseasoned and I'd personally hoy some finely diced vegetables or peas in there but each to their own I suppose.  Did the tofu get a bit burnt?

Ingredients all show harmony in their fairly uniform shape which is good, I'd serve the rice separately from the main dish though.  Very good, a solid 5/7.

And HTT, I love you man but I gotta side with the angry mob here, that steak is cooked to f***.

What should I have seasoned it more with? Curly fries?

Loki, cooked to f*** maybe, but it was tender and juicy, well seasoned and tasted lush. Give me that over some raw chewy bloody s***.

And Disco, very nice, but too much carrot!

Pasta looks dry, sure the photo light doesn’t do it justice though, I’d eat the hell out of it so good effort

Generally light soy sauce.  Kum Chun for preference.

There was bare soy sauce in the hoi sin. Would have been too much soy sauce if I'd done that. It was seasoned with salt and plenty of 5 spice though.

Don't use salt at all, the soy sauce brings the saltiness.

It'll taste a lot better.

I think every British school dinner was something, beans, and chips.  Usually turkey twizzlers, fish, or a plain burger.  Jam roly poly or spotted dick for pudding.
In the 70s, it was terrible I remember.
Meat - undisclosed origin meat - was used in f***ing everything.
Rancid Fatty Stew, Quiche full of cartilage, 'Ham' that was 80% rind', all served with boiled-down, cheap veg like cabbage or carrots.
Puddings were either tasteless sponge pudding with bland 'custard'. Semolina, Rice pudding with jam or a fruit yoghurt.
I didn't need the vegetarian propaganda, I was already convinced there was no future for this rancid, tasteless, dead flesh.
We really don't need it any more...
