Trying the @thomas classic.  Grilled cheese with tomato soup.
Is that a Tommy? That's everyone. Might make that myself, tbh.
I think I've waxed poetic the most about it here before. Perfect on an overcast day. Just good comfort food.

Yeah it was this.

Good comfort food for miserable weather.

On that subject, if you're ever in the ATL but don't like me and wouldn't want to say hi, not that I blame you, but you do want a pretty f***ing good grilled cheese and tomato bisque, hit up https://joycafeatl.com/ really, really phenomenal.

mmmm pimento cheese

Made pasta from scratch tonight for the first time. Tagliatelle, obviously. Don't have a pasta machine so just rolled it out. Was decent. Probably a little too thick but nothing that affected the cooking or the flavour.
And in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love you make.

You can make pasta with beans.  Usually they use chickpeas or black beans, but I'm sure a tin of rinsed Heinz would work.

Spag Bol for tea with garlic butter and cheese bread, not even I could f*** this up. Very simple, very easy to make, and very tasty and hearty food. Onions and mushrooms and cherry tomatoes chopped up with plain pasta sauce for the mince and seasoning.

  The bread looks pretty good once it's been cooked, but the first picture is one of the most unappetising things I've ever seen.

Just soft unsalted butter, garlic minced, grated cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese powder, salt, pepper, rosemary and a pinch of Italian herb seasoning. Oh and bread  I agree though...

Could have easily bought ready made s*** from Morrisons cheaper probably, but seriously, none of us like it.

You’re a fool if you don’t have that canister of grated Parmesan sawdust in your fridge. Doesn’t preclude also buying actual Parmesan.

You're thinking of something different.  This stuff sits in the cupboard for decades and doesn't go bad.
