Just went to Redhouse to take advantage of their restaurant week offer. Pie, mash, peas and gravy and a dessert for a tenner. I paid extra for a second pie as I was f***ing starving.

Two goats cheese, spinach, sweet potato and onion chutney pies, mushy peas, garlic confit mash and parsley gravy, followed by a jam roly poly and ice cream.

f***ing lush, pie and mash is such a satisfying meal. Although I do think the Pie and Bottle Shop in Tynemouth is better than Redhouse, this was good value for money and definitely hit the spot.

 I've always loved Red House but haven't been back since they accidentally gave both me and my lass meaty pies. Rank.

What are the veggie option/s in that place in Green Ginger? I was always meant to go when it was in Shields but it was a little too far from the fish quay. I'm more likely to gan now that they've got this place in Tynemouth mind.

Assuming the menu is the same as it was in North Shields, it'll be a cheese and onion pie. Bloody lovely

Must be better than it sounds, like. I didn't think they'd do owt poncey mind.

I just love cheese and onion

I asked for a stotty pizza here in Dunkirk and got this, advertised as a Pizza Sandwich. If it’s good enough for the French...

Are you sure you didn't just order a croque monsieur?

 HTT asks for food in France, the French give him the food they think he looks like he'd eat.

Just made a lovely grilled cheese with spring onion and sriracha mayo. Might call it a pizza to appeal to slackjaws.

It looks canny, stack a couple on top of each other for bonus points.

Made a roast chicken and vegetable soup, spiced it up with a couple of chilis too.  Was decent but didn't really get the sweet flavor I was going for, too much onion I think.

Every Wendy's has a photo of Tommy on the wall like North Korea. The punch-in is beneath it and it's custom to shoot it a reverent glance and a quick bow.

Two double-doubles from in-n-out. Rat poison on a bun. Needless to say I finished them both.

Won't be buying them again until they get cheaper though, $10 for a pack of four.

Come up on my timeline earlier on from a few years ago, one of my prouder moments cooking as it was for 7 of us in Germany, my wife and kids and her sis and her kids.

Home-made chunky paprika chips, mixed salad bowl and juicy steak (cost me 40 euros for the beef )

Cheers, I love my steak nice and juicy and soft, and that’s how it turned out.
