What a tune this is.

My plan for the morning is to listen to this album, Lost In the Dream and Springsteen's The River. Pure rock n roll euphoria. f***ing love music man.

Tell me how fools obey commands

Brian Downey is such a fantastic drummer.
Not one of the cool kids, and really insecure about it.

Can’t believe I had never heard this before. Rawkus is one of my favorite labels.

Springsteen's vocals in this song (and album generally) are wonderful. Those howls and shrieks are deadly. Nebraska & The River are his finest moments like.

He was really insecure about Nebraska when he wrote it. He recorded it in his kitchen on a tape deck. Took the final cassette out and kept it in his jean's pocket for a good while not wanting anyone to hear it. He then booked studio time to record some of the songs and none of them came out sounding good. He then threw the tape into the mud in his front garden and left it there until his producer found out he had recorded the tracks himself, asked for the tape, cleaned it up, mastered it... and that's the album we hear today.

I hate talking about Deafheaven as I always sound like a hipster but I have always thought this album is weaker than the album before and the album after it. Still great, but Roads to Judah will always be my favourite.

Listening to Lamb of God's new album. Haven't bothered with any of their new stuff since I binged Wrath for about 2/3 years after release, but this is on point. Love me some melodic metal.
