What a way to start us off.

Had yet another fish finger sarnie today and also a toffee crisp. Now developing an addiction to the latter.

PS. Sorry for my language.

In England we tend to have picnics in a nice park or at the beach but each to their own.

Chilli Beef Mini Cheddars.  Taste like someone's crumbled an Oxo Cube in a pack of normal Mini Cheddars.

Do Five Guys do takeaway?  Might stop by the new one on the way home tonight.  What's recommended?

It's just like mcdonalds but poncier, so aye, you can take away.

You build the burger yourself, so get thinking on your preferable toppings.

Yeah Mexican style. Comes with fried cheese, jalapenos, lettuce, tomato and Guacamole. Really tasty and filling. My girlfriend's mum owns a Mexican restaurant in Brooklyn so I've been hooked on these ever since I tried it.

Not a 100% the steak one was breaded. Felt like it, though.

Made some basic rostis just with potato, onion, bacon and cheese, having those with a fried egg, salad and some buttered granary bread. Pretty decent for a quick tea.

a john west steam pot tuna infusion before footy. The best of the slightly more upmarket standard lunch pots.

I find the trick to these vegetarian "Chik Patties" by MorningStar Farms is to bake the s*** out of them. They need to be crispy as hell on the outside. I have always loved them though.

The place was a hellhole, it's like McDonalds with louder music and more beards.  My burger was amazing, but the cajun fries were nasty, the saltiest thing I've ever eaten.
