Remember when he nearly went in that quad bike accident as well. Used to laugh like a tit at the camping, gas man and chess episodes of Bottom. :(
Dead in the middle of Little Italy little did we know that we riddled some middle men who didn't do diddely.

f***ing hell. Me, my brother and my sister grew up on Bottom. From that we got in to Young Ones and the oft forgotten Filthy, Rich and Catflap. A real great. Nobody else could say f***, t*** and arse like him and Eddie. f***, imagine how Ade Edmondson must be right now. Must be like losing an arm.

RIP. Legend.

Shocked. Terrible news. :(
Aye. Just felt I did it at the same time as you and you came out tops every time. Just in a bad mood now after Pixelhax.

Have to get this out now:

Pixel you're either hacking with the demo, or you're too f***ing good to constantly hammer us to the ground with it every time we play. Starts to take the p*ss a bit. I mean, I don't want you to not enjoy the game, but at the same time I'd quite like to enjoy playing it too.

Genuinely gutted, I still watch The Young Ones and bottom quite regularly and never get sick of them, there won't be another quite like Rik for a long, long time.

I think there was some bad blood between Mayall and Ade towards the end due to Edmondson pulling out of a bottom remake last year or the year before.

He'll be gutted though for sure. Such a long history of working together, producing brilliant stuff and being out on the road for years.

Gutted. Hes one of those marmite guys. I loved him. Did not expect this.
Sir Bobby Robson: “What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses, marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city. It’s a small boy clambering up stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father’s hand, gawping at that hallowed stretch of turf beneath him and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love.”

The guy who played "Drop Dead Fred" in the 90s cult classic film passed away at home in England this morning ... and, so far, the cause of death is a mystery to his family.

Rik Mayall -- a huge comedic star in the U.K. -- was at home with family members when he died this morning ... but his rep says they're all puzzled about why it happened.

We're told the actor -- who was only 56 -- was not ill ... but his rep added they don't suspect foul play.
