Interesting theory.  It's crazy how much depth this show has.

Okay, I've started watching season 2 and it's possibly one of the most ingenious programmes I've ever watched. I wish I'd just ignored season 1.

I thought it was decent, but nothing special. The second season is a huge jump in quality imo. I'm only half way through, mind.

Aye, thought season one was better to be honest. Two is great, but season one grabbed me like nothing else before.

Maybe I need to go back to it, but 2 seemed much more original and smart. 1 felt quite run-of-the-mill for me.

Season 1 is man, season 2 is like nothing I've ever seen before.

It's all amazing. When's it back?
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

Sleep now in the fire

I'm only a few episodes into season 2 like but it is a massive leap in quality. Season 1 was amazing though

It's similar to early Futurama how they introduce you to a new weird planet/dimension/alien race ect and wrap up their story in 20 minutes without feeling rushed. Then do the same next week.

So far the end of the Unity episode is one the darkest, funny, but heartbreaking things that I've seen in a programme before. I think that was the moment that it all fell into place for me, but I was getting there with the earlier musical bits as well by (I'm guessing) Jermaine Clement. I had to bury my head into my pillow with laughing when Ice T said "I ain't worried about no earth blowing up man" and then just transformed into a diamond. I think I missed the 10 minutes after that because I was still creased.
