Cheers for another good award season! Hopefully I've done enough to earn a repeat of the gig next year, really enjoy doing these even if they do take a bit of time.

Some observations from this year:
- Might increase voting options to 4 or 5 next year, as the amount of votes was near 100 in every category, which means it won't be harsh to include one or two extra for more excitement. (This year a few categories had a repeat of last years nominees and even a repeat order of results )
- Nomination process is alright I think. Doesn't allow much talk/reminding between posters, but I still think if it's something people want to do they can do it in the general discussion thread and such. Even if the nominations go in through PM doesn't mean the ones nominating have to keep their choices secret.

If you want to know how many nominations the top three got, it's now included in the second post of this thread.

If you want to compare this years results with last years, here's the thread: http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,93858.0.html

Other than that, congrats to all the winners! And especially Cajun who takes home the Long-Time Achievement award!

Also, I am saddened the NFL thread did not go home with an award. Here's to next year!

I'd like to thank everyone who voted for me for being most boring poster, I really couldn't have won this award without you c***s. As a thank you gesture, I now officially retire myself from the Pardew thread. I hope all your criticism in there is now matched with even more criticism to make the thread a happier place. Once again thanks for the votes, it's honour to share the forum with you all and I wish you all a happy 2014, keep smiling!

Before that why didn't the Wigan fans just walk the the Stewart's, the Stewart's only went up to the touchline, their was a big gap between the end of the Stewart's and the stand they could have walked through.
God man replacement's don't have to 100% of best to 100% of a replacement.
The are both white, both intellects, both middle class, both the typical 'people who would have thought could never do such a thing ', all traits of a Psychopath.

Now you (don't) mention it those awards should definitely be split between Football & Chat but aye, need more awards to there is less shoehorning plus with the 3 amigos this year all the undesirables were sewn up before they were announced unfortunately IMO.

Hans was robbed.

Definitely. Surprised by the big gap in votes too.
"What is a club in any case?
Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses, marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.
It’s a small boy clambering up stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father’s hand, gawping at that hallowed stretch of turf beneath him and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love." – Sir Bobby Robson
