didn't hate it or anything but not something i could get into on first listen

Fair enough, there's enough for me in the 4 tracks they've released to warrant giving an album of theirs a listen.

I heard this band on the radio while driving through New Mexico making my way to El Paso for my flight home.

Everyone should probably listen to the new remastered reissues of Tad's God's Balls, Salt Lick and 8-Way Santa. :megusta:

Navarone have a new album out, only on my first listen, but there are some really good powerful tracks on there, Shadows is f***ing epic, this song is pretty freaking good as well:

Really enjoying Meliora by Ghost B.C. They are surprisingly good at writing a catchy chorus given that they look like a gothic heavy metal band

These songs in particular are my favourites:

I've been listening to Billy Talents latest album Afraid of Heights this evening, having listened to and liked a few of there singles over the years, namely "Devil on my Shoulder" "Red Flag" and "Rusted from the Rain" so I figured id give an album a listen. It's really freaking good, there isn't much in the way of deviation throughout the album which could be a negative for some but it's medium to heavy rock all the way through, and really worth a listen:

Currently checking Danko Jones' album and came to the track below. Just a little bit of a Thin Lizzy sound going on there

One of two of the singles from Stone Sour's upcoming album. :sweetjesus:

But...6 in a row. But...Calciopoli.

Venue choices are often a bit baffling like. I remember when Poison the Well played in Middlesbrough, but not in Newcastle, which was bizarre to me. My mate went to see Silver Apples recently as well and they played at The Mining Institute in town. [emoji38]

Their first album is heavy, but from their second album, Come What(ever) May onwards, it's more melodic although there's still heavy stuff there, screaming/growling etc. But why Kroeger has came out with that I've no clue  must still be bitter that Corey Taylor p*ssed on his chips and he ate them. Got a load of the stuff about Stone Sour and Slipknot wrong in his interview n'al.
