I love how in the first episode Mac got ripped and started asking "why did I do this, then?".   Since then, his shirt has stayed on and it's not been mentioned - he went to all that effort just for a single joke in the first episode.

his instagram post about it was quite good actually

Aye that bit was good alright but I’m greedy and I want 100% new laugh material. The Seinfeld stuff was all lost on me because I never saw it.

The 2 scenes side-by-side, IASIP has been described as 'Seinfeld on crack' before.

Absolutely awful season
"Lots of young fellas runnin' around in shorts, that's the kind of think you like looking at, and I bet you like that too, only you're probably imagining what they'd look like without shorts, you're sitting there imagining that with a big smile on your face, ya dirty fecker"

Did quite like the Charlie episode.   Thought the whole thing was going to be a Home Alone spoof, then it turned into Saw.

The lack of Dennis really showed in lost last few episodes. Probably should've opened the season with the Super Bowl episodes and then the Dennis returning episode.

The ending wasn't what I watch Always Sunny for but I still loved it. I feel like this explanation is pretty spot on.

Quote
It represents Mac's desire to desire/love women (which is why he visualizes God as a woman); God is important to Mac and God being a woman who tells him 'it's okay' at the end of the performance is God telling him it's okay that he loves men, that she recognizes his love for her (as God), as well as his sexuality and does not reject him because of it. The first act Mac and God part ways and look forlorn because Mac feels as though he has sinned due to his inability to love women in that manner; the second act is God letting Mac know that it is okay to be as he is, that he can still be a Godly man as a gay man.

Its the worst by an absolute mile like  Looks like they lost their chemistry with the 2 year break

felt like they tried to build it around various absences without anyone noticing but it was very noticeable

Never seen the latest season, but Mac was originally a bi misogynist. I thought the other characters evolved well but Mac just turned into caricature. He was still funny like but them turning him outwardly gay for some reason and then trying to explain (going by that quote) why he was clearly attracted to women in the early seasons is just daft.

Only just watched the last episode now. Actually quite enjoyed it, pity it was only 15 minutes long
