Should have just had Chris Harris and Rory Reid present it. Matt Le Blanc only got the job so the BBC could sell the programme off the back of a world famous presenter. Having Paddy McGuinness and Andrew Flintoff means the BBC aren't using foreign sales as the main decider on who the presenters are. I doubt Paddy McGuinness is well known outside the UK.
Thier is not a word. "Their" is the correct spelling.

Freddy Flintoff is alright when James Corden and Jack Whitehall aren't around, not sure about Paddy McGuinness. I wonder how the show is doing commercially since Clarkson left.

It's not, that was an April 1st joke. They were filming for season 3 just last week.

I thought it was being cancelled after season 3. My bad if not.

Nah, they signed a three season deal in the first place.  A couple of tabloids after the second season put two and two together to get potato and somehow spun that as a click baity headline that they are getting cancelled, when in reality their initial deal was just expiring.

The viewing figures for Amazon are supposedly quite good.

Did it ever get any better? I got a few episodes into season one where they were clowning around on a hostage rescue training course for an interminable length of time and chucked it in.

It's aight - same as latter season Top Gear, good to watch when I'm bored on a Sunday evening and can't be bothered watching anything that requires thinking beyond what happened 30 seconds earlier.    Not must see streaming either though.

It wouldn't surprise if they pack it in after Season 3, even if Amazon want's them back.  They've proved their point, made a better, more popular show than the BBC (a very low bar) could without them and got enough loot to sink a ship in the process.  Will be approaching two decades together as well.

Sounds like you thought he same as me. I thought season 1 had some canny bits in but was mainly just a p*ss take but i stuck with it and season 2 still being daft it is far better.

I think it's the best it's been in years. Pretty uncool thing to say but Paddy McGuinness is such a naturally funny bloke. He makes the show. Flintoff is wooden when it comes to the scripted bits but his off the cuff stuff just reminds me a few Yorkshire lads I know. Rory Reid is really likable too.
