Finished reading The Wise Man's Fear last night.

I want more God damnit. :(

Third is expected out this time next year. IIRC.

Kvothe man. What a legend.

I looked into this and went straight through book 1. I'm about 10% of the way through book 2.

The author's got some stones, man. A whole book about a guy telling a third (?) of a story.

I guess I haven't got to the good parts yet, but f*** Kvothe. Elodin's the man. I p*ssed myself when

Alright, if Tooj and wacko are liking it, I'm going to have to take a look. It was easy to ignore when it was just Froggy. f*** Froggy.

I get nauseous if I read while on a bus/in a car, so I rather just listen to it  :iamatwat:

Going to start reading The Painted Man today.

 I've only read the first couple of pages and then fell asleep and then didn't get back round to reading it since. I'll start it properly tonight. I've heard extremely good things.

It sounds very good (after reading the premise).

I don't know what I'm going to read after ASOIAF. Been thinking of blasting through a few more Star Wars EU but Wheel of Time (book 6), Mistborn and Name of the Wind are all tempting too. I actually have Book 6 of WoT so that might win out.

As mentioned before I do love The Painted Man and enjoyed the next two but they weren't as good.  Mistborn Trilogy is excellent.  I really enjoy Raymond E. Feist so his riftwar trilogy is worth a go.  The stormlight archive only has one book out so far but has was excellent.  I think it's going to be 7 or 8 books though.

I really love Robin Hobbs Farseer Trilogy and Tawny Man trilogy.  I highly recommend those books.  I haven't seen name of the wind.  Will have a go after World War Z.

On the third one at the moment.  Is it just me, or are the second and third books just thinly-veiled criticisms of Islam?

There is a lot of that.  Well either a thinly veiled criticism or thinly veiled racism.
