Anyone given those two new shows a go: Ozark and Friends From College ?

Very different styles but I am intrigued as to whether they're any good.

I had pretty high hopes for Friends from College but it was lacking so much. I think giving it a 6/10 would even be a bit generous.

New Matt Groening show coming to Netflix next year.

Quote
Netflix has ordered twenty episode of Matt Groening’s new adult animated comedy/fantasy series Disenchantment. Groening is of course the creator of such beloved animated series as The Simpsons and Futurama. The plan is for the streaming service to debut ten episodes at a time starting in 2018.

DisenchantmentThe series is set in a crumbling medieval kingdom called Dreamland, where we follow the misadventures of a hard-drinking young princess Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo, and her personal demon Luci. She and her traveling mates will come across ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses and lots of idiot humans.

Groening says of the new series:

Ultimately, Disenchantment will be about life and death, love and sex, and how to keep laughing in a world full of suffering and idiots, despite what the elders and wizards and other jerks tell you.
The series will feature the voice talents of Abbi Jacobson (Bean), Nat Faxon (Elfo), and Eric Andre (Luci), along with John DiMaggio, Billy West, Maurice LaMarche, Tress MacNeille, David Herman, Matt Berry, Jeny Batten, Rich Fulcher, Noel Fielding, and Lucy Montgomery. Animation is being done by Rough Draft Studios (Futurama) and is produced by The ULULU Company for Netflix, with Matt Groening and Josh Weinstein (The Simpsons, Futurama) serving as executive producers.

Hard-drinking princess?  What a gender breaker.

Hope it's good. :aww:
You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger.
We ourselves are responsible for our own happiness and misery. We create our own Heaven. We create our own Hell. We are the architects of our own fate.
Student says " I am very discouraged. What should I do?" Master says, "encourage others."
We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.
It takes a wise man to learn from his mistakes, but an even wiser man to learn from others.
This is what should be done. By one who is skilled in goodness, and who knows the path of peace: Let them be able and upright, straightforward and gentle in speech. Humble and not conceited, contented and easily satisfied. Unburdened with duties and frugal in their ways. Peaceful and calm, and wise and skillful, not proud and demanding in nature. Let them not do the slightest thing that the wise would later reprove.

that looks quality
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

Looks unbelievable.

Definitely. Got a bit of Coen Brothers feel to it, some good characters and some very dark humour. Hope they do another series.

I watched the first season of this last week, and thought it was really excellent. Visually fantastic, with a unique atmosphere and style.

Then I went to watch the second series, and the first episode was one of the worst episodes of television I've ever seen. Seemed like they'd decided that moving the plot to Australia meant turning it into an episode of Neighbours. Genuinely can't believe it has the same director and writer.

Couldn't face watching another episode.
Before that why didn't the Wigan fans just walk the the Stewart's, the Stewart's only went up to the touchline, their was a big gap between the end of the Stewart's and the stand they could have walked through.
God man replacement's don't have to 100% of best to 100% of a replacement.
The are both white, both intellects, both middle class, both the typical 'people who would have thought could never do such a thing ', all traits of a Psychopath.
