Thought the first episode with the pig was absolutely terrible. I always tell people to skip it but they always end up watching it for some reason.

People Just Do Nothing is on the American Netflix. dunno if it's on the American one but you should hack it just to see this show.

I liked the first one but it get's overshadowed pretty quick. Still need to watch the one with Jon Hamm.

Black Mirror with a suitable budget for the quality in writing is all I've wanted for it. As good as the first two series were, it had that cheap, British feel to it that took a lot away from its overall quality imo.

That's harsh. I think they benefitted from a modest charm, allowed it to be all about the story, which held their own.

A bigger budget doesn't guarantee a better production.

Westworld is a fine example. You can see that so much has been invested in convincing the viewer that it is technically possible, and it magnifies any little detail that suggests it would not. That's not a complaint just a personal observation.

A bit like Ashley Cole. If I was to pay one man £130,000 to do a job, I would be angry if he ever made a mistake. But I am also aware that humans are incapable of not making mistakes, so I would never place that expectation on a man.

*Just remembered £130,000 is nowt these days, should say if I' paying more than anybody has previously paid.

I felt the opposite. I thought the show had a big budget to begin with. the 15 Million Merits episode does not look cheap whatsoever.

I doubt the budget would compare to the $100million dollars spent on the pilot of Westworld.

I don't remember it well enough to be sure, but nothing stands out that couldn't be done on a stage-set.

I think it did like, you could tell it was all shot on a fairly small set.

I agree with happinesstan though, I tend to like the relatively weird, modest feel some British TV shows have, but it's definitely noticeable and given it's theme Black Mirror could benefit a lot from better sets, effect and acting across the board. Not that I thought the original was in any way horrible in those areas like.

We've aw seen it Lovejoy, no one left to recommend it to. O0
You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger.
We ourselves are responsible for our own happiness and misery. We create our own Heaven. We create our own Hell. We are the architects of our own fate.
Student says " I am very discouraged. What should I do?" Master says, "encourage others."
We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.
It takes a wise man to learn from his mistakes, but an even wiser man to learn from others.
This is what should be done. By one who is skilled in goodness, and who knows the path of peace: Let them be able and upright, straightforward and gentle in speech. Humble and not conceited, contented and easily satisfied. Unburdened with duties and frugal in their ways. Peaceful and calm, and wise and skillful, not proud and demanding in nature. Let them not do the slightest thing that the wise would later reprove.

Not Netflix but Goliath on Amazon is pretty decent. 4 episodes in and it's got me intrigued, stars Billy Bob Thornton as well.

Started watching the Aussie drama Glitch about the dead returning.

Entertaining enough so far, a bit of similarity to The Returned.

Already confirmed season 2

After watching that I still can't make my mind up as to whether she played a part in it or not
