Only managed about half an hour of Mindhunter because it had already packed in so many clichés, convenient coincidences, and stereotypical characters that it didn't immerse me. It didn't feel like something by David Fincher. I'll give it another chance when I'm more in the mood.

Missed this earlier but aye, basically this. The bit when she pulled him towards her by the tie was about it for me.

Didn't like Mindhunter at first but when Kemper started to come into it more I was gripped. It was top notch by the end - one of the few shows this year that's really got me in like that.

Ford’s a little creep, definitely shades of Dennis Reynolds.

First season was a slow-burn but yeah, it ended on a high note I thought.

Loved his character's progression, like. At first I really didn't like him but his initial annoying-ness was so intentional that I'm now impressed at how well he played it

Olivia Coleman cast as the Queen in seasons 3-4 of The Crown.  Great actress, but I just can't see it.

Slap a wig on her and a scowl and she’ll be fine.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Making mistakes is how you learn.
Every generation must fight the same battles again and again and again. There is no final victory, and there is no final defeat, and so a little bit of history may help.
“What power have you got? Where did you get it from? In whose interests do you exercise it? To whom are you accountable? And how can we get rid of you?” If you cannot get rid of the people who govern you, you do not live in a democratic system.
That is why no one with power likes democracy and that is why every generation must struggle to win it and keep it – including you and me, here and now.

Aye. Still don't like the character, last episode was rewarding.

His relationship is a bit clichéd but I wonder if that isn't on purpose. His life is so clichéd and ordinary, but every now and then it enters that dark side of fantasy. I'm pretty sure that will f*** with him at some point.

Also interested to see if there is ever any closure on the teacher's story.

"Wow the hobbits were cool and good. Maybe all white people are cool and good. I should join the republican party" - mike's fears about how the LOTR trilogy will change him, probably.
