Doesn't really affect UK viewers (unless your watching through a VPN) as over here Netflix don't have much (if any) Disney content.

This is going to be a big problem in future though, every network is going to bring out their own streaming service which you must subscribe too. It's going to be like the music industry before iTunes. Apple has already identified this problem and are trying to come to an arrangement to put in place a 1 stop streaming service, however the networks are trying to milk the cow, little do they know that putting a gun to a cows head and telling to produce milk isn't how you go about doing it.

I think Disney seem to have forgotten why things like Netflix came out in the first place.

Also, everyone should give Icarus a watch on Netflix if they haven't already.

I'm desperate to see it but ironically I haven't been able to as I've been too busy watching the athletics. [emoji38]

Been watching the second season of Last Chance U.

A sports documentary about a junior college American Football team that manages to win state championships despite a tiny local population. The reason why is because they recruit extremely talented players who have been kicked out of other schools because of criminal activity, bad behavior and other misdemeanors.

It's absolutely brilliant television.

Atypical.

Really am enjoying it actually. Can't say I really know anything about autism, though. A few reviews seem to suggest it's not the most perfect representation of it.

I whizzed through half the series the other day, like. Really enjoyed it too, then read the criticisms about how they portray autism and felt bad about laughing about some of the stuff. :okay:

Same. Finished it last night then had a read of a few more reviews. I found the other characters' stories fairly interesting too, which helped but yeah, I feel obligated to have not enjoyed it now.

I quite enjoyed Sense8, some interesting concepts, of course being the Wachowski's they often go a bit overboard especially with the whole Trans/Pride thing in the pilot. I suppose I was really taken by the fact that it was a show which was spread around the globe instead of the usual US/UK setttings.

It's f***ing made in Canada.
Making mistakes is how you learn.
Every generation must fight the same battles again and again and again. There is no final victory, and there is no final defeat, and so a little bit of history may help.
“What power have you got? Where did you get it from? In whose interests do you exercise it? To whom are you accountable? And how can we get rid of you?” If you cannot get rid of the people who govern you, you do not live in a democratic system.
That is why no one with power likes democracy and that is why every generation must struggle to win it and keep it – including you and me, here and now.

I know it doesn't necessarily work like that, but just barmy you haven't got access to it yet.  I thought it would be as a sort of North American thing.  I'd just acquire it by other means, if you're eager to see it that is.  Netflix is pretty bad with some stuff, especially if they're not involved in the programme.

It could just be that someone else has the rights to it over there.  Netflix isn't a monopoly.
