If you've got Sky, Dexter has been added to the 'Box Sets' offerings upon leaving Netflix.

Aye that’s where I’m catching up. I think it’s a shitty thing to do just pull something g when you’re getting into something. To be honest Net Flix is kind of s*** these days. I can watch almost everything on there elsewhere for nowt or the same or cheaper. It’s their own stuff that probably keeps me with them, I.e. Making a Murderer etc.

Which, you know, is their business plan.

I do, but i don’t see why they have to pull a show and certainly not without warning.

They add and remove stuff almost every day. It's not that they're just doing it for a laugh, their rights to show it expire. Dexter's rights have obviously been acquired by Sky.

Watch Dexter up to the end of Season four and then knock it on the head.

I watched it til the bitter end first time around. On second watch it’s an irritating show like.

should have ended at that exact scene man, would have been legendary tv
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

I presume you mean "Hello, Dexter Morgan" ? If so, I agree. Would be up there with The Sopranos’ finale.
But only in their dreams can men be truly free. It was always thus and always thus will be.

Finale wise. Not show as a whole.

Sopranos is endlessly better than Dexter, obviously.

On the other hand, Dexter has the glory of in reality having the worst series finale I’ve ever seen

Last scene of the season would have been better, surely? What a f***ing punch in the gut that scene is.

Was gutted. The 4 seasons after that - I think one of them was good but the rest were just awful. At the time, I was listening to podcasts with showrunners and they were promising that the ending would be great, it'd make sense and they'd not f*** it up.

They f***ed it up.

Original ending was Dexter sat in the electric chair as they open the window where people can look in at the execution, and he sees everyone he's killed looking back at him and smiles - cut to black and you hear a switch being flipped, roll credits.

Instead Dexter went full on incest and became a bearded woodsman.

I've just been reading about good and bad endings in TV programmes, and the Roseanne one sounds absolutely off its tits considering it was a typical sitcom.

Aye I read it a while back, sounds surreal

I wish more shows what do daft s**** like that, that fan-written one for Friends was superb IMO.

Would have been ridiculous and not in the tone of the show whatsoever but would have been memorable as hell.
