Most people don't know the version they know is a cover, so I'll post the original. I think this is the perfect example of the cover completely owning the song. They took the tempo down, added the guitar riff, added all the atmospherics, added the shiny new drum machine handclaps, and ended up with one of the most iconic songs of the 1980s.

Never been fully signed up to the Foo Fighters but that has always struck me as by far their best song of the stuff I’ve come across alongside Walking After You.
