The fear of finding oneself alone - that is what they suffer from - and so they don't find themselves at all. - André Gide

Everyone who remembers the 70's will remember this song, maybe not many will realise its a cover.

The sad legacy of the song and its effects on the co-writers Swansea Duo Peter Ham and Tom Evans, both of whom committed suicide in depression related to being stitched up by their manager Stan Polley who conned them into signing contracts that effectively lost them all rights to their songs including this one.

They were supposed to be the next big thing, the next Lennon and McCartney, but they fell into desperation, broke and unable to break away from the contracts with Polley embezzling all their royalties.

They apparently didn't make a penny from Nilssons success with their song.

The original bass player of their band The Iveys who changed their name to Badfinger is a regular contributor on one of the Swansea boards.

Shame about Badfinger and all. Harry Nilsson was f***ing incredible, though.

The original will always be best but this is a fantastic effort.

Year of the Rabbit were a side project from Ken Andrews of Failure, a superb band (Fantastic Planet is amazing)

They toured extensively with A Perfect Circle who actually covered a Failure song from album mentioned above.
