I’m going to stay with my mate for a couple of days, thanks everyone and sorry if I worried anyone x
 I dunno. I'm starting to think it was us.
Trump will do well man. Don't know why but I really feel this will be the case. Really hope it will come to be that way.

Hang in there ManDoon.  Help is out there but you have to take the first step and ask for it.

aye look after yourself mate
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

Sleep now in the fire

Look after yourself Mandoon. Hope you feel better in the coming days.

I'm not doing 2-3 days on the booze anymore. Can't do it. The drink anxiety is too much. I went for 30 days with no drink (and feeling good) to drinking non-stop for 3 days and body couldn't handle it on this holiday. Felt horrendous yesterday, and been a struggle today. Just feel too emotionally low and s**** after a booze binge. Didn't help that flight was delayed and missed last train home, so had to sleep in Manchester airport for 4 hours, before getting a replacement bus home.  :'(

This is good, use the opportunity while you have your mate's support to pursue professional help as well.

Hope you begin feeling better soon Mandoon. With regards to a place to go and try getting help, theres a place in Byker NE6 just behind the Wetherspoons on the top floor of the Doctors, its classed as a mental health treatment centre but I've been there before whilst undergoing a 'bad turn' and they really, really helped.

MD - how you doing fella, hope you got through the day and got some help that you needed.

Ignore if you (all) like but just wondering if people in here would like to meet up, go for a meal (so it’s not alcohol specific like out on the lash) chew the fat and offer support. Just a thought. :)

Hey, sorry, been driving a lot, so haven’t been on here. Thanks for the message dokko and everyone else I really appreciate it. I’m doing better, still have an unending feeling of doom and that my life is not worth living but the intensity is down from 10 to 7. I have counseling on Monday, so that’s good. Appreciate everyone’s support it really does help when you are feeling awful
