Leaning towards the 9T Pro, but couldn't see it on gearbest yesterday. Will look again later.

Can't find anywhere selling it.

ok, changed my mind. down to the xiaomi mi mix 3 5g or the poco f2 pro. what one should i pick over the other and why. obviously the poco is the more expensive phone but is it worth the difference?

Any point in getting a 5G phone at the minute? Fancy an S20 but the 4G only model is cheaper.

I was in Newcastle city centre for the first time in ages earlier on so did a 5G speedtest on my phone. 283mb/s download speed. Absolutely insane.

Probably get lower battery life in the 5G version, the Qualcomm 865 doesn't have an integrated 5G modem so it'll be a separate chip.

That's great and all but, why?  What would I need a 283Mb/s download for out and about in the city centre?

There are good use cases for 5G, much increased bandwidth and latency etc but it's more for non-consumer access and things like Iot, autonomous vehicles etc.

I'm updating from my P20 to one of the S20 models later in the year.

At this stage you're probably safer waiting until the S21.

2 of my only requirements are that the screen is sensibly-sized and that there's a headphone jack.

I'm fighting a losing battle these days

Still holding out for the pixel 4a, coming from the pixel 2. Been waiting for it to drop for forever, just like the takeover.

The camera on pixels are always worth the wait though, so hopefully not long to go. Otherwise I'd have been tempted by the Nord..
