Easily my favourite foreign player to play for Newcastle. Sheer class. On a side note, exactly the type of player that England doesn't produce too.

Love Nobby, I do.
Newcastle 4-4 Arsenal: "From impending tragedy to near-triumph via the most improbable route possible - 95 minutes that neatly encapsulate 130 years of football on this particular piece of grass. Newcastle, United, will never be defeated."

Sir Bobby Robson - What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses or the marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.

The end of his time here was quite sad to watch. Put in some good shifts at full back though.

Was it? ???

The one part of the story that says it all really.  Superb player, great technique and one of the worst moments of Bobby's time here when he let him go.

NobbySolano back in the NE. He has signed for #pools. Great work by Wadsworth. Still fit and will do well in League One. #nufc

Signed for Hartlepool.

His legs will fall off soon.

He'll still move faster than Smith and Nolan.

 more than likely.

Still though I like it when a footballer drops down the leagues after a great career, makes them appear more in touch with reality for whatever reason. Solano, Sheringham, Speed etc

Probably just me like

Nah I agree Hans. Just shows they care more about the football than the money, they're just happy to play.

Could be that he still needs the money...

Highly unlikely that he would go to one of the lowest paying clubs in league one then.
