Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia is the fear of long words.

Surely that part is totally pointless?

If the population of China walked past you in single file, the line would never end because of the rate of reproduction

Cranberries are sorted for ripeness by bouncing them; a fully ripened cranberry can be dribbled like a basketball

The creator of the NIKE Swoosh symbol was paid only $35 for the design

Depends how fast they're walking [/pedantic]

How well could they reproduce while walking?

my dad told me that when I was a kid- I spent most of the 1970s trying to work out why all Chinese people walked past people.

101 Dalmatians and Peter Pan (Wendy) are the only two Disney cartoon features with both parents that are present and don't die throughout the movie.

The Incredibles? or is that classified as Pixar?

If a statue in the park of a person on a horse has both front legs in the air, the person died in battle; if the horse has one front leg in the air, the person died as a result of wounds received in battle; if the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes.

QI said that was an urban myth :la:

The statue of Archduke Charles on the Heldenplatz in Vienna is the largest equestrian statue in the world standing on only two points -- the horse is rearing on its hind legs.

Archduke Charles died peacefully in Vienna.

PS The sculptor spent the rest of his life trying to make another equestrian statue that balanced on two legs, and was driven mad by his failure.

Many Japanese golfers carry "hole-in-one" insurance, because it is traditional in Japan to share one's good luck by sending gifts to all your friends when you get an "ace." The price for what the Japanese term an "albatross" can often reach $10,000.

Istanbul, Turkey is the only city in the world located on two continents

The name Wendy was made up for the book "Peter Pan."

The fur of the binturong, also known as the "Asian Bear Cat," smells like popcorn. The scent is believed to come from a gland located near the tail

The chemical name for caffeine is 1,3,7-trimethylzantihine

Grrrr. I shouldn't be taking the internet's word as gospel. It's a shame that, that would be a nice little trinket of information.

You shouldnt be taking QI's word as gospel either!  Its true man.

I'm alright. You should get some Toy Story cereal and chill out. I've tried the lot in the past few weeks: Krave, Chocolate Shreddies, Chocolate Weetabix, Weetos, Choco Puffs, Coco Pops. Toy Story is the clear winner and it's the cheapest of the lot by a factor of almost 1:2.

Got none left because of that show so, aye, no input into this thread from me.
Before that why didn't the Wigan fans just walk the the Stewart's, the Stewart's only went up to the touchline, their was a big gap between the end of the Stewart's and the stand they could have walked through.

The 1997 Jack Nicholson film - "As Good As It Gets", is known in China as "Mr. Cat Poop".
