I'm hopelessly behind the times. Do I need to watch any before this?

None are essential I don't think, but Justice League: the Flashpoint Paradox would be useful in bits (and is outstanding/worth a watch in its own right, anyway).

Apparently it leads on from the other Justice League Dark one but I can't remember any of that and it still seemed to all make sense.

Good movie but whoever writes Constantine's dialogue wants shooting. Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins levels of s***.
