i think you can obviously pick massive holes in the story and as an individual film (same for infinity wars) but the absolute triumph is what the did with the characters and how that developed over 21 films or whatever it was, absolutely masterful imo
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

Sleep now in the fire

Has he not been recast, or is the Joaquin Phoenix thing unrelated?

I don't think even DC know tbh. Joker is supposed to be standalone but I can't see them walking away if it's a huge hit. They are still in the throwing s*** at the wall stage and seeing what sticks.

Totally unrelated.

I know there was talk of Jared Leto lead Joker film but after how well this upcoming Joker film is I think that'll be on indefinite hold. Could see him popping up in the Batman film though.

What about Robert Pattison?  Is he a replacement for Affleck, in the Phoenixverse, or unrelated to both?  DC are confusing.

Quick Google later, looks like its a sequel and The Batman is part of the same universe. So more Leto Joker then. :anguish:

It's DC man they don't even know,  it's whatever is working at the time. There's no masterplan beyond each film, their not that clever

I don't think there's necessarily anything wrong with that tbh. As long as the films are good, it doesn't matter if they are in the same universe or not. The problem is that they very rarely have been any good.

Quote
In a world where people with superpowers are the norm, Izuku Midoriya has dreams of one day becoming a Hero, despite being bullied by his classmates for not having a Quirk. After being the only one to try and save his childhood bully Katsuki Bakugo from a villain, Japan's greatest Hero All Might saves him and bestows upon him All Might's own Quirk "One For All". The story follows Izuku's entrance into U.A. High School, a school for training the next generation of superheroes.

 It's stupidly good.

Do they have Hulu in Sweden?
