Can you get xiaomi laptops over there? I've been looking around for one and they seem by far the best bang for your buck (or quid).

You'll not get any gaming features for £500.

My old laptop was only £400 and it played Minecraft, Kerbal Space Program etc fine. Plus I seen one I wanted to buy for £500 and reviews said it played Minecraft and Fortnight fine, but it was sold out. I'm not looking to play Call of Duty or GTA on it, just simple strategy games etc but its not the main reason im getting the computer anyway.

I bought mine from Argos for the same price, but there's a nice little offer (free backpack and Huawei watch) if you but it directly from Huawei

Looking at one of 3 laptops.  Usage will be office type stuff, watching videos and maybe a bit of FM or Kerbal.

This one is a 15.6", i5-10210U, only 4G RAM but I can stick more in, 1TB HDD:

This is the same one but with 8G RAM and a 256GB PCIe drive rather than HDD

Or this is a 14" R5-3500U, 8G RAM, 256GB SSD

Any thoughts?  I kind of like the one with the 256GB PCIe as it has another slot where I can put in an SSD or an HDD if I need to.  Storage isn't really a huge issue as I have my main PC at home with gobs of storage, this will just be for going to work and out and about and stuff.  Not sure if 15.6" is a bit too big either.
