Yup, goes into the wee hours if it needs to!!

The latest finish to a Crucible final came in 2006 when Dott completed victory over Peter Ebdon at 12.52am.

Higgins.

http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/news/801641/How-world-snooker-champion-John-Higgins-plots-to-betray-his-fans-for-cash.html

I read it on the train yesterday. The way I read it Mazher Mahmood/NOTW offered him £300K & he said aye. What I would be more interested in is why was John Higgins picked as the target for this sting operation.

Higgins is a prime target for a number of reasons. Mainly he and his manager (Pat Mooney) set up the World Series (events across Europe) meaning that someone wanting to negotiate with him was quite realistic. For example if they'd picked on Dott, there's no reason why some Ukranian's would want to meet him - with Higgins there was a realistic reason. Secondly, Higgins is squeaky clean, the world champion and has no previous offences and he clearly loves the game and has been trying to promote with the world series. If they can expose him to be a cheat, then who knows who else is?

The final has been weird, could go on for f***ing years.

f***ing hell, this makes Ebdon-Dott look about as action packed at Rambo 4

15-12, if Robertson wins this next one I think that'll be it. If Dott wins it this may never end.

Frames taking half an hour-ish on average. Minimum of 3 more, so that's an hour and a half, and 1am. Dott's probably going to win at least 1, I'd take bets on who nods off first out of Virgo and Taylor.

Doesn't help that Robertson goes for a 10 minute p*ss break in between every frame

Once a frame hits 10 minutes these two need to be playing "next pot wins"

All the talk of making snooker more exciting and attractive to the public is being seriously undone by these two.
