If someone can pick me up from the railway station, count me in.

Will be up for numerous pints afterwards, if there's any poor bugger like me without a ticket for the game.

So, would anyone be kind enough to drop me there and back from the railway station?

Any news on whether this will be going ahead or is it going to be a last minute job like the other one? I'm talking opposition here.

reliable source informs me there is no team to play against as yet?

Danielg is trying to sort today, bit short notice though.

Not had a final response from Ipswich. They said that they couldn't play on Monday because too many of them have to be at their "Northern Supporters AGM" which is at 1pm. I explained that I could bring the match forward so that we'd be finished by 11.30, still waiting for a response.

In the meantime, as we've got the pitch (and ref?) booked, it seems a shame to waste it if we can get together an opposition - hence me asking DG.

I'm sure that's fine. Even if we end up at 10-a-side, all I want is a match. Even if it is a laid back friendly affair.

It's £30 for the pitch and £22 for the ref (or you can ref it yourselves and save the £).

Works out about £2 each.

Not arsed bout the ref if we're not playing an opposition IFL team. We got on fine against Whitby.

Tbf to Whitby, they didn't change their arrangements, it was NOFC that didn't get the pitch organised until the Friday night.

Any problems with playing, etc. Can you speak to Dan (Semtex) or Matt (Yorkie) as I'll not be at the game.

Have sorted out the pitch & opposition (finally) - go and enjoy it! :)
