Should have confirmation of a pitch tomorrow. Things were looking very bleak ~~till Stu informed me that any time on the Sunday was alright~~ I read the OP. I'd assumed Whitby FC were playing in the afternoon against Gateshead ~~- a la NUFC vs whoever - meaning our game would have to be first thing, as normal. And there didn't appear to be much about.~~ but I didn't actually look to see what division they're in, so I shouldn't have assumed anything without checking the facts first.

But i'll ring round a couple places again and confirm with you all on Wednesday or Thursday.

How's mid-day for this one? Can get Coach Lane for mid-day for two hours, or any time in the afternoon, and it will cost £110 - meaning it'll be over £4 a head. I've got to pay upfront and seeing as i won't actually be there for this one - someone who's there can book it. It's pretty awkward i know, cos i said i'd get a pitch, but it's a bit daft going round receiving £4 in the post and paypal from 27/28 people. That is, of course, if we do actually go with Coach Lane. But i'm struggling as to where else to look. I'm doing the whole thing a bit blind cos i don't really know where the pitches are in Newcastle nor do i have any contact numbers.
