Cool, you've already got the bowl for it too.
Comfy chairs, beer, and doom. Humanity's future is an early 90s LAN party.

Think I'm going to stay in the US, it's the same job and a transatlantic move in the middle of all this sounds like a nightmare.   Are estate agents even open?

All right Troll, what did Trump offer you?
Obviously, I'm speaking of a hypothetical world in which there is a greater club than Tottenham.

Not sure this is the relevant thread to moan about this, but here's one for the IT admin types:

Now to go through all the fuckin servers and check what disks are in them. Class.

 no one tracks that. laptop/desktop level definitely get property tags etc, but individual hard drives? Assume you have a way of remote scanning to get manf/model numbers off individual machines into a large report though.

edit: okay maybe backblaze and similar track it.

Visa extension applied for.  As soon as it's approved there's a week of clinical lab training, then months of testing people's sputum to look forward to.

My unemployment came through yesterday. Not anywhere near what I was making, but definitely takes a big stress off my shoulders (luckily at my brewery we claim all tips). Not spending money on anything else other than food these days anyway so it'll be easy to save it up to pay bills.
