I had to take a packet of almonds with me whenever I left the room just to keep me focussed on something.

A splatterhouse turd done in the manky toilets of a discotheque, brought on my the consumption of cowies or toot.

Give him a break, it was the only thing stopping him having a marzipanic attack.

I’d cooked dinner with them so they were kinda like a nice anchor to a more straightforward time.

Sounds like you've done it before, or were at least prepared. Had the girl done it before?

My only LSD experience was a pretty bad trip.  No desire to do it again, even though I know it won't always be like that.

My first time was a bad trip. At a house party and the host, a long time mate and mental goth, was waving a massive knife about that freaked me the f*** out and sent me spiraling into LSD anxiety. Fun to look back on.

Peer pressure meant there was never no going back for another shot.

My first trip was amazing. Second one had elements of fear, which I was able to laugh about the next day, and since then I've always approached the fear in an appreciative way.

I remember speaking to Ryan Dunne on the phone once, tripping balls. That was strange. Mates had been at the Steve-o gig, got backstage then decided to call us, who were at mine watching Big Lebowski with our faces melting.

The girl had, I hadn’t. Funnily enough we thought it was a bit of a dud as after 40 Minutes nothing happened. Cue 30 minutes of hysterical laughter during a few games of draughts. I started to have a strong reaction before she did, zeroing in on the LED light on the TV and during the first hour or so I was massively comforted by the fact the girl was experienced and to me seemed in control. Then she was like ‘I’m really not in control’ and it became a bit trickier.

We were both doing our best to keep the other person in a happy place. At one point I followed her out of the room and she completely span round 180 degrees without moving and that freaked me out. That pretty much resulted in the almond comforter that defined my night.

Lol. "This isn't working" is always the point that it starts working. As if it's around the corner waiting for the best opportunity to make an entrance. Sounds like you had a blast. And didn't s*** your pants when it went freaky.

Back in '81, when I was still living in the lakes, I started working with a hippy from Brighton.
One day he came up to me, said 'Put your hand out'. So I did, and he placed what I thought was a mass of knotted shoelaces into my hand.
He said don't take all of them, 'Take them?' I asked. 'Yes, they're magic mushrooms. You'll love them'.
Of course, I went home took about half of them, then after 30 minutes thinking they weren't working, took the rest.
I had a splendid time. I was still living at home, so I had to go walking. I ended up at the top of our local mountain/hill/dormant volcano.
I stayed till it was dark, and started getting paranoid. Made it down at about 10pm and went home to bed. Couldn't sleep till about 5am.
Obviously, I introduced them to all of my mates, and we found out where they grew, so the Summer of '81 became my 'Summer of Love.
One kid got into a frightened mess and told his parents what he'd had, they phoned the busies and then the local paper got involved.
They actually sent a reporter up to the area they grew, where he took a photo of some Liberty Caps with a 10p piece next to it.
For the rest of the Summer, I swear people were up there looking for 10 pences...
The worst trip I had, was when I took about 100, and went to a nightclub. Jesus, the place just seemed like hell.
Haven't taken 'em now for over 30 years. But would recommend for young people without the weight of emotional baggage us old fellas have.

Aye. nightclubs are far from the perfect environment. Although I was in Julies when I took my second LSD trip, and stayed in the bogs for 3 days [15 mins likely] laughing at how the floor had flooded to 12" but I wasn't getting wet.

Had some weed dropped off yesterday. StarDawg or some s***. Potent. Had a few goes on the pen and that was me for the night. Absolutely chonged. Scared to touch the stuff again

This can't be right man. I've smoked a dozen strains in lockdown and not one has hit me like this.

if LSD's out of the question, when you come back to the states let's do shrooms and hit the strip.
Nah f*** this, worst poster nominations are back.
One year I deliberately made no posts in the general chat thread so I couldn’t be nominated for it, I still f***ing won.
