Making mistakes is how you learn.
Every generation must fight the same battles again and again and again. There is no final victory, and there is no final defeat, and so a little bit of history may help.
“What power have you got? Where did you get it from? In whose interests do you exercise it? To whom are you accountable? And how can we get rid of you?” If you cannot get rid of the people who govern you, you do not live in a democratic system.
That is why no one with power likes democracy and that is why every generation must struggle to win it and keep it – including you and me, here and now.

At least 3 blatant examples of product placement for the book 'Hope, Faith and Courage', but no mention of the book. Weird.

Product placement for a cocaine twelve step self help book released in 1993? Don't think so. Just there to emphasise the story.

Agree with all bar the last point. Every f***er is at it. Blokes in late 40's and 50's are hoovering. Real epidemic across the board now. Stronger gear these days due to dealers serving long sentences for cutting agents alone from about 8-10 years ago.

BBC reporter reporting on medicinal cannabis, has twice referred to it as mecidinal.

In her defence, she was reporting from Amsterdam.

I wouldn't mind getting onto the non-smoking element of it.  Just no market for it over here though, mainly down to the legal status obviously.

Vaporising kits are extortionate, even the cheap ones.  Wouldn't mind one, but not skinning myself for it, I'll put up with the haggard lungs for a while longer.

This is only £53 and it's very good.

Christmas shopping done.  This stuff is great at numbing election pain, too bad it'll never get legalised under the Tories.

Completely forgot to post this, but just before Christmas i bought a vape off depop, second hand. Done it a ton of times, and never had an issue. Was like 4 in the afternoon when it arrived and so I just tested to see if it was working. Had a few big hits, tasted a bit weird, but I didn't think anything of it. About 10 mins later I said to my fiance, you're going to have to call an ambulance, I'm on drugs. Was desperately trying to figure out what the f*** was going on. It was like an acid hit, except I couldnt really breathe too well, and my body was shaking. Obvs I was freaking out horrendously. Went to RVI got checked over.

Messaged the guy giving him the chance to come clean, and he was bullshitting me with (it only had 0mg mango in bro!). So I sent it to get tested, came back as this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MDMB-FUBINACA

Quote
MDMB-FUBINACA was first reported in 2014 and quickly gained a reputation as the most deadly synthetic cannabinoid drug sold by 2015.[6] Up to 700 hospitalisations and 25 deaths were initially linked to MDMB-FUBINACA in media and government reports, and subsequent testing confirmed that at least 1000 hospitalisations and 40 deaths had occurred as a consequence of intoxication by MDMB-FUBINACA as of March 2015.[7][8][9]

So yeah, was not great. Though at least i've tried spice now, and survived

 I dunno. I'm starting to think it was us.

The kid then threatened me a few times over message, found out who he was and laughed my tits off. But yeah had i been driving that would have been a bad situation.

Scientific revelations about what causes good and bad trips on psilocybin!

**TL;DR: Due to recent scientific revelations, GABAergics such as lavender oil and l-theanine could prove to be some of the most effective and  scientifically proven tools for** ***actively causing good trips*** **and soothing bad trips. Highly recommended for beginners or anxious and fearful people.**

Biology student here.

There are impressive news, which may open up ways to actively induce good trips and positive ego deaths.

Check it out, weeks ago this paper was published, where *Mason et. al*  researched the different neurotransmitters correlating with "positive  or negative ego dissolution experiences" on serotonergic psychedelics.

The researchers found that lower glutamate (the main excitatory  neurotransmitter) in the medial prefrontal cortex and the hippocampus are correlated with good trips, while higher levels of glutamate are  correlated with bad trips.

This  has serious practical implications - higher glutamate excitation is  naturally countered by the brain via GABA release (the main inhibitory neurotransmitter). More GABA in the medial prefrontal cortex and  hippocampus should consistently be able to induce good trips.

**This is a big deal.**

**Using  glutamate-inhibitory or GABAergic substances, herbs and supplements may  be a highly effective method of actively inducing good trips and  positive ego deaths.**

Lavender oil is GABAergic and is a crazy strong anti-anxiety supplement  (comparable to benzos in anxiolytic effect size), with no serious side effects and no addiction potential.

Anecdotally, I can report that every single time I combine psychedelics and lavender oil (80mg softgels) there is no anxiety or fear left and all my  tripping friends have a great time.

L-theanine is also GABAergic and a mild anxiolytic. Anecdotally, every single trip  combined with high doses of L-theanine was very positive.

At last, obviously, GABA is GABAergic. But there's controversy around if any supplemented GABA actually reaches the brain.

Meditation also reduces activity in brain areas known to cause bad trips.

Caffeine actually increases glutamate activity, so high doses of caffeine may  actually be involved in causing some people's bad trips.

Of course, all these things may only decrease the chance of having a bad  trip. Do not worry that the nature of psychedelics will be changed with  this: Horror trips will still happen; there will still be negative  experiences to learn from. But especially for beginners and  anxiety-prone people, using lavender oil and l-theanine may prove to be a  great tool for decreasing anxiety and fear.

10/10 recommendation for using l-theanine and lavender oil in combination with shrooms, LSD and DMT.

Done them once. Didn’t enjoy the experience, felt really nauseated, as for the mental side I’m not sure how much I enjoyed them. Was a weird feeling of just being uncomfortable with not being in my normal state of consciousness. They left a friend of mine battling severe anxiety for about a year, but also seemed to get rid of my neurotoxicity issues which I developed from MDMA. Want to do them again at some point but a small dose somewhere between 0.2-0.5 g.
