Tiger King was incredible. Every ten minutes you’re face palming again. So many amazing characters.

So that lass wanted to free all big cats in captivity and her method was to lock them up in captivity ?

Started watching Counterpart (I keep wanting to say Counterpoint!)

1st episode was ok, I do like J. K. Simmons and the premise seemed quite interesting.

Anyone else watch this one?

Makes prime TPB look mundane. I can't even pick out the craziest f***ing moment.

Cat lady was batshit.

 Genuinely gonna binge it again. f*** it.

'The View from Halfway Down' Bojack episode

Rarely has an episode of TV rocked me to my core as this did and Bojack has been a show packed with stunning moments

Magnificent but oh so bleak

Watch 'The Grey' to the end of the credits (Marvel style).
Thier is not a word. "Their" is the correct spelling.

Aye

Shocked at how ropey all the old Simpons episodes look on Disney+ mind, wrong aspect ratio too.

Making mistakes is how you learn.
Every generation must fight the same battles again and again and again. There is no final victory, and there is no final defeat, and so a little bit of history may help.
“What power have you got? Where did you get it from? In whose interests do you exercise it? To whom are you accountable? And how can we get rid of you?” If you cannot get rid of the people who govern you, you do not live in a democratic system.
That is why no one with power likes democracy and that is why every generation must struggle to win it and keep it – including you and me, here and now.

Just tried to give Britbox a go, I say tried because apparently someone thinks having a online streaming platform with no way to watch on a console is a good idea. Absolute s****.

Any of the Gomorrah lads on here managed to find a copy of l'immortale?
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

It launched in the USA and Canada in 2016/17. It launched in the UK in 2019. It was named for the US market.

Bit slow after the first couple but looks like it picks up once you get to know the characters a bit better (and start to know WTF is going on!)

Just started “Hunters.” Promising first episode.

Looks really f***ing good, but has annoyed me a bit that they've sold it as a 'true story'. And yes, I know it's all in the wording, 'inspired' by a true story, but from checking it out it's almost entirely a work of fiction. Still, it helped heighten the tension in that first few minutes, my jaw hit the deck thinking "f***ing hell, this happened?!?!". Checked, and nope. :nope:

I think I can see why now some have had serious objections to it. Although in general I don't object to fictional portrayals of the Holocaust, but this seems a bit too far. I'm not even that far in.

Apparently most of the torture and murder described actually happened, everything apart from the 'chess' game scene which was created for dramatic licence.
Though that was enough to p*ss people off. Why do you need to make 'anything' up about the Nazis...

Because that's how fiction works.
Yes, but this was based on reality. A brutal, hellish and violent reality.
Why would you need to 'sex-up' Nazi atrocities? Take your pick, there's any atrocity you can imagine...
