Enjoyed the first episode of Des.

Nice cameo for Foz from Peep Show.

I used to really like it but tried to rewatch it recently and now think I was just obsessed with Alison Brie
Being like this is what had me watching Two Broke Girls.

 Your Tivo must be outrageous. Do you watch a show if it doesn't have tits?

  If you go through the films thread, every single movie review from Mike starts by saying how fit the lead actress is.  Every single one.

 I'm not who I used to be, man. I honestly hardly watch tele these days.

The blonde on that show just happened to be outrageous and so I've seen more eps than I care to admit.

We(Sweden) got D+ today, so started watching The Simpsons. How many seasons before they changed to todays voices?

Did the UK get a dubbed version of The Lion King? People complain on FB that many Disney classics do not have the original sound, but a British dubbing when they choose a language.

Only noticed two (Daniel Mays and Jason Watkins).  Who have I missed?

He (Jason Watkins) lives around the corner from me.
I see him walking his 2 poodles when I go to the shops.
V. good actor, like.

They've always used the same voice cast. First season or two they do sound a bit different though, the actors took a while to settle on a consistent voice for each character.

Caught up to the end of Cobra Kai. Was alright, I mean clearly trash TV but enough callbacks and references to get you through despite the increase in daytime TV style drama in S2.
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

Leftovers next, I reckon that'll be your sort of thing.  Same showrunner, and Regina King is in it.

The 'Karate Kid' films were 'serious' drama. 'Cobra Kai' is tongue in cheek.
Thier is not a word. "Their" is the correct spelling.

Of course, they dialled that down in S2 though is what I'm saying. Was too much like a daytime soap.

Fair enough. I enjoyed it as it's 30 minute episodes and the story isn't stretched to breaking point over too many episodes. It's a 'light' watch.

 Pointless is the worst considering the prizes on offer. What will I do with my winnings? Might go nuts and upgrade to first class on the train home. If I'm lucky maybe I'll have a bit left over for a couple of tinnies from the trolley.

 I get annoyed at that more than I should too. Ten grand for playing the giant 2p machine on ITV1, but for naming the actor who played Laertes in Kenneth Branagh's Hamlet I get enough cash for a new pair of trainers, a night out and my big shop paid for.

Pointless has added a new no-stakes round where both sets of contestants get a free shot at finding pointless answers for a bonus. Lost my s*** when I first saw it, couldn't believe my eyes.

Oh big time, for sure.

Gotta be a team up in S3 right

4 more episodes of 'Criminal' on Netflix going on today. Really enjoyed the first three and keen to see how our familiar faces of British TV Drama get on with their next handful of cases.

Community got much better, but was too late as I'd completely lost interest in any of them. They could all be mutilated by the end and I would still only have a slight desire to see it.

Damages - This is surprisingly good.
Making mistakes is how you learn.
Every generation must fight the same battles again and again and again. There is no final victory, and there is no final defeat, and so a little bit of history may help.
“What power have you got? Where did you get it from? In whose interests do you exercise it? To whom are you accountable? And how can we get rid of you?” If you cannot get rid of the people who govern you, you do not live in a democratic system.
That is why no one with power likes democracy and that is why every generation must struggle to win it and keep it – including you and me, here and now.
