blazed through 5 eps of mythic quest, it's not hilariously funny but it's a really nice show so far

ep 5 itself was lovely
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I'll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i'll drag you to your grave
I'm deep inside your children
They'll betray you in my name

Binged a few EPs of A.P Bio today. It's steady enough. The skinny lass in glasses is funny as f*** though.

The People vs OJ Simpson.   I love how it makes the Kardashian kids look like weird little freaks.

'Narcos: Mexico' season 2 is available to watch.
Thier is not a word. "Their" is the correct spelling.

Whilst after seeing the show I was sure he was the cliff hanging moment, f***ing 99% sure I read something elsewhere that prove he wasn't going to return. f***ing games being played. :hmm:
Making mistakes is how you learn.
Every generation must fight the same battles again and again and again. There is no final victory, and there is no final defeat, and so a little bit of history may help.
“What power have you got? Where did you get it from? In whose interests do you exercise it? To whom are you accountable? And how can we get rid of you?” If you cannot get rid of the people who govern you, you do not live in a democratic system.
That is why no one with power likes democracy and that is why every generation must struggle to win it and keep it – including you and me, here and now.

I was hoping that the ‘American’ in the cell was Babs, it would be great if they brought her back. I sort of enjoyed the last season but felt it jumped the shark a bit with its oversaturated knowing winks to 80’s culture

After the second season I read the Duffer Brothers said they wouldn't keep using the same characters. They said if this stuff kept happening to you, you'd move town. I think each season has been diminishing returns.

Hail Satan.

Weird as s***. I doubt I'll ever be sure how I feel about this.

Hail Satan was okay. It's just a bunch of atheists taking up the idea of Satan as a way of fighting how certain institutions in the USA aren't separating God and Government. If a government building has the 10 commandments outside we will demand a statue of Baphomet. Seems fair to me.

Yeah, I got that. I'm not sure how I feel about the film. Some very strong arguments reduced to a kind of freak show.

'Hail Satan' wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Obviously there are plenty of characters in the group. Unfortunately the film ended up being about the disagreements with the more radical elements of the group rather than the religious politicians pushing their views via their local government roles.

Started watching Servant last night, AppleTV series by M.Night Shyamalan.

3 episodes in, and its ok so far, if a bit wierd. Each episode only about 30mins which helps to watch 2-3 at a time.

We finished The Stranger a couple of weeks ago. Was ok till the last episode, then it kinda jumped the shark.
Claim to fame.... Han Solo stole my uniform.

Yeah I thought the stranger was mint until the last episode which just seemed out of place.
Sir Bobby Robson: “What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses, marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city. It’s a small boy clambering up stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father’s hand, gawping at that hallowed stretch of turf beneath him and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love.”

I know there's a thread but I can't yet venture there; I'm six episodes into Watchmen. Every single one is absolutely tremendous, but 5 and 6 have been really, really special.
